General Description

Delay takes an input, and outputs it after a specified delay. For Technology Independence, this is done by cascading flip-flops. All state changes occur on the rising edge.

Usage Examples:

The easiest way to instance the delay is by using static method calls in the OTHERS class. If desired, however, the constructor calls may be made explicitly, as shown below.

First, you must import the Logic.Modules package:
import byucc.jhdl.Logic.Modules.*;

To instance an enabled, unnamed delay, the following constructor would be used:
new delay(this, length, data, en, out);

To instance a standard delay, the constructor would be:
new delay(this, length, data, en, out, "name");
