General Description

A generic size down counter, that can specified to be loadable, clearable, enabled, or any combination of the three. When two or more of these signals are asserted at the same time, the order of priority is clr, ld, and then dec. All state changes occur on the rising edge.

Usage Examples:

The easiest way to instance the downcnt is by using static method calls in the COUNTERS class. If desired, however, the constructor calls may be made explicitly, as shown below.

First, you must import the Logic.Modules package:
import byucc.jhdl.Logic.Modules.*;

To instance a downcnt with clear, dec, and load commands, the following constructor would be used:
new downcnt(this, clr, dec, ld, ldval, q, "name");

To instance a simple loadable-only downcnt, the constructor would be:
new downcnt(this, null, null, ld, ldval, q, "name");
