General Description

A generic size up counter, that can specified to be loadable, clearable, enabled, or any combination of the three. When two or more of these signals are asserted at the same time, the order of priority is clr, ld, and then inc. All state changes occur on the rising edge.

Usage Examples:

The easiest way to instance the upcnt is by using static method calls in the COUNTERS class. If desired, however, the constructor calls may be made explicitly, as shown below.

First, you must import the Logic.Modules package:
import byucc.jhdl.Logic.Modules.*;

To instance an upcnt with clear, inc, and load commands, the following constructor would be used:
new upcnt(this, clr, inc, ld, ldval, q, "name");

To instance a simple loadable-only upcnt, the constructor would be:
new upcnt(this, null, null, ld, ldval, q, "name");
